One can connect with God starting with attending church but also through active Christian life and prayer as you seek to understand God's truth and to fully realize what it means to receive him in Holy Communion and be a disciple of Christ in baptism, enter sanctified marriage between a man and woman, becoming a catechumen and being confirmed into the Lutheran Church, or even entering the ministry as the Holy Spirit guides you on your spiritual journey to God through Christ Jesus up to the time of your last day on Earth secured in his amazing grace.
Membership
If interested in membership, please stop by the office after church services.
• Members have equal input during meetings as the church is centered on the congregation. Everyone's input, support, and/or prayer is central in our mission to serve God together. • You will receive membership envelopes and contributions will be documented for tax return purposes. |
Baptism, Marriages, & Funerals
Baptisms, marriages, and funerals can be performed by the minister on a scheduled basis.
• Please contact us to open a discussion and to begin making arrangements with the pastor. |
Catechism & Confirmation
Catechism sessions on church doctrine and Luther's Small Catechism are organized as requested.
• Please contact us to initiate catechism studies with the lay ministry under the guidance of the pastor. • For children: supplemental studies are found through them attending and learning of Christ in Children's Church (Sunday school). Materials and study guides are ordered through Concordia Publishing House • For adults: a video based course God Connection is organized as requested. • As the congregation grows in discipleship, the intention is to formally organize classes while still providing instruction as interested arises. |
Bible Study
We currently do not have bible study sessions with the ministry organized at this time.
• We currently provide free daily devotionals in the form of Portals of Prayer and additional materials during the Lenten and Advent seasons for those seeking connection with God's promise. • As the congregation grows in discipleship, the intention is to formally organize bible study sessions, especially during the Lenten and Advent seasons. |
